Economou Mansion

Built in 1851 by the famous Captain Michail Economou, this beautifully preserved master house is situated right on the sea front, a 10 minutes walk from the town center. The furnishing is 19th century style, the chest of drawers smell of levanda, lace curtains hang in front of the windows… The outside is as remarkable as the inside, with pebble yards and gardens surrounded by stone walls, where the visitor is free to roam or rest in a deck chair under the olive trees, by the side of the swimming pool. The lounge -dining room area, the ancient kitchen of the mansion, has kept all of its original atmosphere and leads the visitor straight to the past. In the winter - time, the impressive fire - place where huge logs burn all day long, will provide warm nights and unforgettable moments.Rooms - Studios: The ground floor has been recently refitted and all modern amenities added with great respect for the pre-existing architecture, even the iron barred windows have been kept. It can host today a small number of guests in 6 spacious rooms, all with private WC/shower, A/C (hot-cold), double glazed windows, satellite T.V plus Teletext, mini bar, direct dial phone, hair dryer & safety box. The delicious home-made breakfast prepared by the hostess herself has became a legend among regular guests & largely enhanced the growing reputation of the" Economou Mansion" as THE place where one can best experience the true Greek hospitality in the most exclusive setting.Deluxe Suites: The second part of the restoration program dedicated to the "Economou Mansion" was recently completed and two luxury suites with breathtaking sea view, named " Kampara" & " Nemesis" are now available for special guests all year round.
