Anesis Village

The island is connected by road via a navigable bridge with the remainder Greece and by plane, one can reach Lefkada through the Aktio Preveza (25 km. from Lefkada).   Reaching the idyllic village of Karioton, which is located hardly 3 km. from the city of Lefkada one will meet the group of Anesis Village.   What we offer:  Our group has studios and apartments of 2 to 5 persons with independent entry, independent air conditioning, individual bath, kitchinette, refrigerator, television as well as balconies with view to the green and the sea. Besides we allocate swimming-pool, children's swimming-pool, hydro massage, garden with grass and safe parking space.   More particular: 1) Studios: Each studio is of about 25 sq.m. and includes kitchinette, television, air conditioning, refrigerator, individual bathroom withshower and veranda. (2 to 3 persons can reside in it).   2) Apartments: each apartment is of about 40-60 sq.m. and is constituted of two rooms. It includes kitchinette, air conditioning, television, refrigerator, individual bathroom with shower, veranda and can entertain 3 to 5 persons.   Our aim is with your staying to discover the monuments of culture, the charming nature of the island and have an unforgettable time.   Best tips: 1) From Thessalonica and the Northern Greece, you will go through Ioannina, Preveza, you will pass the undersea junction of Amvrakikos, Aktio and you will reach Agios Nikolas. From there, the road will lead you to the channel of Lefkada. The road network of Lefkada is nice and accessible. While the way to Lefkada (from Athens) is realized through the bridge of Rio- Antirio, Agrinio, Amfilohia, Vonitsa. There is also an alternative way by coast through Astakos.   2) Ionian is famous for its sunsets. Do not lose them! Beloved parts of photographers and romantics for the sunset, constitute the Kathisma beach and the beach Mills near the city of Lefkada. The picture of the Red sun that is lost in the blue of the immense Ionian is unique and it deserves to be seen.   3) If you find yourself in the island during the summertime, we propose you to watch the appreciable events of the feast of "Word and Art". An artistic program of quality, with theatre, musical exhibitions and thematic nights. It was first organized in 1955, while in 1964 Maria Kallas participated in it!   Another important event of an international scope is the "International Folclorik' Festival" that is realised each August in the island. Events and dancing groups from a lot of countries and parts of Greece will amaze. It is worth seeing!   4) From Lefkada one can easily escape to other islands of the Ionian, but also to other destinations of Ipeiros and Sterea Hellas. Extra  ferry boats from Nidri leave regularly and daily for Meganissi, while tourist ships make mini cruises in beaches and islets of Lefkada. Enjoy the excursions they are amazing.
